Location: Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 5pm, plus one Sunday in every six.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you’ll play an important role in managing materials across the business, helping to maintain stock availability, minimise waste and support service levels. You’ll work closely with teams across Procurement, Sales, Operations, Logistics and Quality.
We’re looking for a proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain team and help keep our operation running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working at pace, and making a real impact on availability, service and waste management.
Key Responsibilities
Support the overall planning and forecasting strategy.
Manage and maintain stock levels of materials in line with business requirements.
Raise purchase orders, considering forecasts, lead times, shelf life and minimum order quantities.
Ensure all raw materials are sourced through approved suppliers.
Monitor and analyse demand changes, working closely with stakeholders to minimise stock-related risks.
Produce short and long-term reports to identify at-risk materials and associated SKUs.
Manage changes to plans and assess the impact on materials and packaging requirements.
Consider waste reduction opportunities, shelf-life extensions and customer lead times to maximise availability and minimise waste.
Escalate issues and concerns through the appropriate channels in a timely manner.
Maintain clear visibility of incoming materials and expected delivery schedules across the business.
Work collaboratively with Procurement, Sales, Operations, Logistics and Quality teams.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery requirements are met.
Support suppliers with booking procedures and compliance requirements.
Participate in daily operational communications and planning activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience within a Supply Chain environment, ideally within FMCG.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
The ability to analyse, interpret and present data in a clear and meaningful way.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Experience working with processes, SOPs and KPIs.
Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong numerical and reporting capabilities.
