Warehouse Team Leader

Salary: Competitive

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (including Sunday working)

Shift Times: 45 hours per week, 1pm–9:30pm (flexibility may be required)

Solstice is a rapidly growing family business. We're looking for two Warehouse Team Leaders to join our National Distribution Centre in Waltham Cross.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be the go-to person on the warehouse floor, leading and motivating a team. You'll turn daily priorities into results, keep everyone focused and make sure KPIs and service levels are met on every shift.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading, motivating and supporting your team to hit daily KPIs

• Overseeing receipt, storage, picking and dispatch, keeping everything accurate and efficient

• Keeping stock accurate through inventory control, regular checks and fewer discrepancies

• Managing scheduling, training and performance reviews, and developing your people

• Driving a strong Health & Safety culture and following company policies and procedures

• Working with the quality control team to maintain product standards and accurate picking and packing

• Keeping warehouse equipment, including forklifts and storage systems, safe and well maintained

• Reporting on inventory, productivity and other key metrics

• Helping manage the warehouse budget and finding cost savings

• Spotting and delivering process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or Warehouse Management role, ideally in chilled FMCG

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Good organisation and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice

• Confident using warehouse management software and MS Office

• Clear communication and good people skills
